The Texas Chiropractic Association annually selects the most worthy recipients among its members to receive various awards heralding their dedication and contributions to the Chiropractic profession. The two most coveted awards are the Keeler Plaque and the Young Chiropractor of the Year.
The Young Chiropractor of the Year is presented to members under the age of 40 who have shown leadership, dedication and have made outstanding contributions to the profession and the Association. The Award was first presented in 1956.
The 2008 recipient of the award is Dr. Robert Hoffman of Austin. Dr. Hoffman is a 1998 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and has practiced in Austin since that time.
